TRIHAWK I DRILL BIT
TriHawk I is an aggressive directional drilling bit designed for soft rock conditions up to 8,000 psi (552 bar). It also provides excellent performance in dry, compacted soils as well as cobble and broken formations. Made of high-quality, heat-treated alloy steel, TriHawk I features replacable carbide teeth that are angled into the cut to increase production and reduce machine vibration.
TRIHAWK III DRILL BIT
TriHark III features superior abrasion resistance and massive, carbide-core cutting teeth desinged to efficiently cut through soft to medium rock up to 12,000 psi (827 bar) and cobble. Welded carbide grit is applied not only to the bit surface, but also into grooves that are cut into high-wear areas, keeping the bit surface smooth and resulting in less resistance when pushing to steer.
TRIHAWK IV DRILL BIT
The TriHawk IV drill bit is designed for use in heavy, overburdened cobble or fractured rock. TriHawk IV is machined from high-grade alloy steel and engineered to reduce machine vibration in tough drilling conditions. The bit's numerous carbide chisels cut and fracture clearance space for the housing, and are positioned to help promote smooth, rotational drilling.
TRIHAWK V DRILL BIT
The innovative design of TriHawk V combines torque-edge steering with thrust-face steering to provide unbeatable performance in round rock cobble, flat river stone, hardpan and loose fill. TriHawk V's patented J-tapered torque edge feature converts rotational torque to direct steering thrust, which gives the operator excptional control. The key to TriHawk V's outstanding productivity is the tapering of the leading edge toward the bit's trailing edge.

TRIHAWK HD HOUSING
The Ditch Witch Trihawk is an exceptionally versatile, durable and productive housing for directional drilling. Available in four sizes, the TriHawk HD housing is compatible with Ditch Witch and Vermeer drills. With its innovative high-flow design, TriHawk has the power and volume necessary to also run mud motors and air hammers. And, as drilling conditions change, you can change tooling with maximum speed and security thanks to the housing's square drive spline, one of TriHawk HD housing's many patented features.
Compatible with Ditch Witch and DCI® electronics, the rugged Ditch Witch HD dirt housing is formed from one-piece, heat-treated alloy steel to provide outstanding protection downhole. Its replaceable tailpiece has industry-standard API threads for maximum versatility, and the housing’s 90º offset head is designed to maximize durability. The Ditch Witch HD dirt housing features a patented, dual-slot transmitter lid to enhance signal transmission, and you have a choice of a pinned or bolted lid design.
SLANT FACE BEACON HOUSING
Engineered with an exclusive waterflow design, the Slant Face beacon housing directs flow around the beacon compartment, effectively reducing water damage to the beacon. This economical housing accepts a variety of bits for multiple drilling conditions, and its beacon window design provides a stronger beacon signal and longer battery life.

TRI-CONE BIT (TCI)
Used with a jetting assembly, this bit is designed to cut in medium to hard rock. Both new and rerun bits are available. Certain sizes of the Tri-Cone bits are used on our All-Terrain systems, too.
Made of abrasion-resistant steel, the Barracuda Bit is designed with tungsten carbide chips in a special weld bead matrix along the front edge, for improved performance and wear. The Barracuda Bit can be used in all soil conditions, especially cobble, chunk rock, and glacial till.
The Durabit Bit is designed to provide extended wear in all non-rock soil formations. Tungsten carbide segments along the leading edge and an abrasion-resistant steel body combine to make the Durabit Bit ideal for most soil types.
With its streamlined design—steep, large steering surface and small nose—the Glacier Bit enables you to push and steer better in hard formations. Strategically placed carbides prolong the life of this bit and protect the leading edge of the housing. The Glacier bit is available for use with threaded high-flow housing or patented Taper Head housing.
The Grade Bit is designed to help the drill head stay on grade. Shorter and narrower than our standard bits, the Grade Bit allows steering corrections to be executed more gradually. The Barracuda version can be used in all soil conditions, especially cobble, chunk rock, and glacial till. The long-wearing Tuff Bit version is ideal for all soil conditions including hard, compacted soils or soft, sedimentary rock.
HARD SURFACE BIT
Made of abrasion-resistant steel with a weld bead of very hard, chip-resistant material, the Hard Surface Bit is used in cobble and chunk rock conditions.
RHINO ROCK BIT
Available as a bolt-on or to fit patented taper head housing, the Rhino Rock Bit is designed for use in soft to medium rock that is beyond the capabilities of standard bits. It also is effective for drilling in soil, eliminating the need for frequent bit changes as soil conditions change.
With its square nose, the Sand Bit is ideal for soft soil and sandy conditions.
STEEP TAPER BIT
Designed with a pointed triangle-shaped nose, the Steep Taper Bit can be used in highly compacted soil, light rock and cobble.
STEEP TAPER TUFF BIT
Designed for hard, compacted soils and soft, sedimentary rock, The Steep Taper Tuff Bit features a pointed triangle-shaped nose. The Tuff bit segments along the leading edge have the strength and stability to handle the pounding and vibration of drilling in rock.
This long-lasting, all-purpose bit is designed for use in a variety of soils, including sandstone, chunk rock, and hard soils. There are nine Tornado Bits, from the 3-inch up to a 6.4-inch, designed for use with nearly all Ditch Witch directional drills.
TRI-CONE BIT (MILL TOOTH)
Used with a jetting assembly, these bits feature mill tooth cones designed to cut in hard, compacted soils and soft to medium rock. Both new and rerun bits are available. Certain sizes of the Tri-Cone bits are used on our All-Terrain systems, too.
The Tuff Bit is the ultimate long-wearing bit for all soil conditions, including hard, compacted soils or soft sedimentary rock. The Tuff Bit segments along the leading edge have the strength and stability to handle the pounding and vibration of drilling in rock, and the Barracuda material down the sides reduces wear on the nose of the housing.
